📜 How the pool works

Everyone is assigned teams in the draft. You earn points from your teams’ results during the group stage only — points stop after the group stage so everyone’s tally is based on the same fixed number of games. Your teams’ goals keep counting through the whole tournament. The leaderboard ranks you by points + total goals, so it stays live right through the final.

The leaderboard leader (points + goals) at the moment the group stage finishes — locked in once all group matches are done.

🎲 The draft

You don’t pick — teams are dealt automatically. All 48 teams are ordered by FIFA ranking, and the top teams are spread across entrants so the best sides don’t pile up with one person (the top N teams, where N is the number of entrants, each go to a different entrant; then the next N, and so on). One hard rule overrides everything: no entrant can hold two teams from the same group. Each entrant ends up with a roughly equal number of teams. The draft is run live; once it’s locked, assignments are final.
